Friends of Three Sisters
The Friends of Three Sisters was initially formed in 2003 by a group of users of the site. They wished to promote the use of the site to the wider community and volunteered their time to work with the Ranger Service to improve the facilities.

Run by local volunteers to serve Ashton in Makerfield. It continues to provide facilities for a variety of community activities for all age groups.

Friends of Ashton
We are a group of local volunteers, working with residents and businesses in the town to improve its image whilst preserving the town’s charm and character. Friends of Ashton is a non-political and from a wide variety of backgrounds and ages.
Friends of Ashton Heath
We are a small group of local residents from around the heath area. We are looking for volunteers to help maintain the heath for all to enjoy. Our little group is in the process of joining a linked nationwide collection of groups. When this is done we can then apply for council and other grants to help maintenance.
